Alice Event Management & Consultancy is the only professional Corporate Event Manager and Destination Management Coordinator based in Alice Springs, in the Northern Territory. At Alice Event Management & Consultancy we are committed to providing the highest standard of Event Management and tourism consultancy services.

With over 17 years in the local tourism Industry throughout Central Australian and Alice Springs and 7 years in the Business Events industry, we know how to showcase the region at its best.

Local Guru and Mastermind Dale McIver is a born and raised local of Alice Springs. Her knowledge and passion for the region coupled with her local business networks and excellent event management skills are a formula for success. Dale has previously run an event management business with success in delivering memorable and successful events. Dale specialises in combining the big picture vision with the fine detail in delivering a successful event.

Dale founded Alice Event Management & Consultancy in 2015. Her experience in local community events coupled with corporate incentive groups and DMC work has seen many clients leave Alice Springs with fond memories and successful events. Dale has her Executive Certificate in Event Management through the University of Technology. Dale is the current Chairperson of the Board of Tourism Central Australia. Dale’s passion for events is apparent with her keen eye for detail when creating events that engage, deliver and inspire.

Northern Territory Government, Department of Health – National Workshop -  April 2017 

In April 2017, the Department of Health engaged Dale McIver, the Director of Alice Event Management and Consultancy to be the event manager for a small national workshop held in Alice Springs.  Dale proved to be very professional in her approach; she was energetic, efficient, flexible and thoughtful.  She was clearly focused on delivering the best outcome for her client, and was a pleasure to work with.

It was an ambitious plan to host and event in Alice Springs with 120 guests coming in from all over the world. But with Dale of Alice Event Management on the ground in Alice Springs, coordinating every aspect of our event logistics and the many moving parts, made the ambitious plan pay off, big time! Dale’s commitment, professionalism and straight forward approach was absolutely the key to the success of our conference and we loved having her as a part of our team.

Dale, I’m so grateful for the help you gave us in organising the week in Central Australia for our international business partners. Knowing they are experienced and discerning travellers I wanted to give them an experience which took them off the beaten track and gave them some really fantastic memories. And having visited the Centre a number of times myself, I wanted to experience some new things myself too, not the standard tourist fare. You couldn’t have been more helpful. Apart from the expertise and collaboration in designing a program that met our needs and being responsive to changes that we wanted, on the tour itself you gave great service in helping everything run without a hitch. I hadn’t been looking forward to getting people on and off buses and making sure everyone was in the right place at the right time, but it turned out I didn't need to worry – you managed everything for me, which was fantastic! That meant I could enjoy the journey and be a colleague to my colleagues, not their tour guide!

I must say also that you were greatly loved by my colleagues, who came from four continents; they had nothing but praise for your style and manner, and I’m sure you’ll be a great part of the memories they returned home with.
